今週月曜日から4月の仕事が始まりました。
この数カ月は、工作機械の需要が減少傾向のため、主取引先である工作機械メーカーからの受注も減少傾向にあります。
しかしながら、頂いたお仕事を一つ一つ丁寧に行い、かつ品質、納期、コストの面でお客様に喜んで頂けるように、社員一丸となって頑張っていきたいと思います。
そして、このような時期は、需要が回復し、仕事が忙しくなる時期に備える時でもあると思いますので、
・社内の仕事の役割分担の見直し
・これまで扱った事の無い機械の操作の習得
・設備の清掃や定期的な点検内容の確認と実施
など、忙しい時には行い辛い事に積極的に取り組むチャンスだと思います。
製鉄所向けの大型の受注も何件が決まり、製作も開始されています。
昨年から行っていた新規開拓営業による、部品加工の受注も決まりました。
先を見据え、かつ目の前の仕事にしっかりと取り組んでいきたいと思います。

My name is Tomoyuki Fukushima, and I am Managing director in FUKUSHIMASEIKI CO., LTD.
Monday in this week, the work for April has started.
For these few months, declining demand for machine tools, orders from machine tool manufacturers are also on the decline.
However, we need to complete customers’ requirements carefully and we have to work together as a team to satisfy our customers in terms of quality, delivery time and cost.
In the times like this, I think that it’s also time to prepare for the period when demand recovers and work gets busy. For example, we can do below now.
– Reviewing the division of roles within the company
– Mastering machine operation
– Confirmation and implementation of equipment cleaning and periodic inspections
I think it’s a good opportunity to actively work on things that are difficult to do when we are busy.
And also, several large-scale orders for steel mills have been decided, and production has started.
And also as a good news, due to new development sales that we have been doing since last year, orders from new customer for parts processing have also been decided.
Looking ahead and we would like to work hard on our tasks in front of us.

納期が迫る中、工場長が、難易度の高い仕事を黙々と行っていました。写真は、工作機械の部品。
While deadline approaching, the plant manager in our company was challenging with difficult his task quietly. The photo shows parts for machine tools.
カップリング製品に関して、現場スタッフが、部品の手仕上げや塗装、組み立て、梱包に取り組んで下さっている様子。
About, coupling products, the photo shows that production staff are working on parts had finishing, painting, assembly and packaging very carefully.
昨年5月に導入した立形CNC旋盤のおかげで、直径の大きな品物（直径500mm以上の品物）も、容易に加工できるようになりました。
Thanks to the introduced vertical CNC lathe on May last year, even large-diameter items (diameter over 500mm), it has become possible to process easily.
外径にミゾが多く、細長い品物の旋盤加工は、刃物と芯押台の接近に注意が必要ですが、何とか上手くいきました。
Lathe processing of elongated goods that have many grooves on outer diameter somehow went well while care must be taken when approaching the blade and the tailstock.
