[改善]工場全般：工場入口付近/[KAIZEN]factory general: near a factory entrance

改善事例を紹介させて頂きます（工場全般：工場入口付近）。

私たちの会社の第1工場の入口付近には、以前は、改善前写真のような工具棚がありました。

マシニングセンタで使用する小径のドリルやコレット、タップホルダなどを保管する大きな工具棚です。

マシニングセンタの段取りを行う作業者は、1日に数回、機械から少し離れたこの入口付近まで、工具を取りに来なればなりませんでした。

工場の中央には、この棚を置くスペースがなかったため、仕方のない状況でした。

また、この大きな工具棚があるため、入口付近に宅配依頼品を置くことができませんでした。

運輸業者さんが、毎日夕方に寄ってくれるのですが、宅配依頼品があるかどうか、一目でわからず、工場の中まで入って来て確認しなければなりませんでした。

工場内のレイアウトを変更し、この大きな工具棚を工場の中央に移動しました。

工場入り口は、改善後の写真のように、宅配依頼品を置けるようになりました。

運輸業者さんがその日に宅配依頼があるかどうか、一目でわかるようになりました。

また、１階から２階へ荷物を運ぶ際の一時置場としても利用しています。

Near a factory entrance of first factory in our company, previously, there was a tool rack like the one in the picture before improvement.

It was a large tool rack to storage small diameter drills, collets, tap holders, etc. for processing by machining center.

Several times a day, workers setting up the machining center had to come to pick up the tools to the vicinity of this entrance, a little away from the machine.

It was an unavoidable situation because there was no space to put this shelf in the center of our factory.

And also, we could not place the delivery request item near the entrance because there was this large tool rack.

The carrier from shipping company is supposed to drop in every evening.

Before improvement, we had put delivery requests at a center of our factory a little away from the entrance.

Therefore, he or she had to go inside to make sure whether there are delivery requests from us.

We moved this large tool rack to the center of our factory with changing the layout in the factory.

Now, we can place delivery request items at near a factory entrance like a picture of after-improvement.

Now, the carrier from shipping company can grasp whether there is a delivery request from us in a moment.

This space is also used as a temporary storage place when carrying luggage from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor.
